As we get older, sleep becomes a long and predictable ritual. You can’t eat or drink too much before bed. The sugar and stimulants will keep you up. The room temperature must be balanced. The wrong temperatures will keep you up. You have to relax your mind and body. Worrying too much will keep you up. Even when you get to sleep, you can almost count on getting up once or twice at night to go to the bathroom, stretch, or simply lay there and think about what you need to do the next day. Gone are the days of blissful 8-10 hour long sleep reveries that filled your younger days. Now, three to four straight hours of sleep are the norm. And that is when things are going well in your life.
Recently I invented a particle radiator called the Daemonium Card. It is designed to block negative forces from impinging upon your consciousness as you sleep. To be honest, I saw it being used by an advanced race in a dream for just that purpose. A very tall being with slightly humanoid features taught me how to assemble it and transfer it to earth. I designed and assembled it and followed the instructions as given by the being. He instructed me to shine a flashlight onto the surface for ten minutes before going to sleep. As I did so, the flashlight flickered and glowed as if it were under the influence of a powerful force. Sometimes, it flared so brightly that it went out, only to turn itself back on after a few seconds. Strangely enough, I felt that the light was interacting with me directly through the card.
After using the card for several nights, I noticed that I slept like a baby. Somehow, using the card helped me regain that drooling baby like sleep that I enjoyed when I was younger. I had not used any drugs, meditation, herbs, or hypnotic techniques. I stopped the card for a few days and my sleep went back to normal. I then resumed using it and I fell back into that baby sleep that left me feeling fantastic. I let me wife and some friends try it, they reported very similar results. They all wanted to know how it worked. I told them that it worked directly on the sleep architecture centers to induce delta sleep patterns. At least, that is what I was told.
I studied sleep disorders and sleep technology during my residency. I also did research on dreams as a third year resident. I know a lot about sleep architecture. Deep dreamless sleep is the holy grail of sleep research, especially for the older population. Deep delta wave sleep is the part of the night when the body repairs itself. We get a lot less of this as we age.
I am astounded at how well this card works. Sleeping deeply without pills, herbs, or alcohol is a tremendous blessing. Now if I can just figure out how to get back to that being and get some tips on losing weight with that technology.
