Arguably the greatest medicine we can give to ourselves. A good laugh can raise one’s emotional state to a whole new level. Most of the time we don’t laugh for very long though. We laugh a little bit then become self conscious and tell ourselves “Calm down, it was not that funny.” Let’s stop doing that. Let’s try to laugh as long and as hard as possible.
I like to experience those BIG laughs. You know, the laughs where your stomach starts to hurt or you may struggle to breathe. The laughs where your eyes squint and you show every single tooth from smiling so big. The ones where you are so tickled that anything out of someone’s mouth afterwards will only continue the laughter. That kind of laughter you become weak and fall over or have to run around/out of the room… I think you get my point! Those laughs fill you will up with so much energy that you can’t help but move your body in some way. I love those laughs. I think we should try to experience those kind of deep laughs everyday.
